If they don't get 80 teams signed up before May 1st, the tournament will be cancelled. Traditionally, I think there has always been more than 80 teams at the tournament, but many anglers sign up at the last minute making it difficult for the organizers. It's a well run and fun tournament with a good pay-out. $7,000 guaranteed for 1st.
