AOY

I would like to make a suggestion as to how the AOY is determined. As it is now an angler can "cherry pick" the 6 highest weight tournaments and skip the events that have smaller fish in order to win the AOY. To make it more competitive and fairer for everyone, calculate the AOY winner using the following calculation. Rather than using total weight for 6 tournaments, use a points system based on the finishing position and the number of entries. If there are 24 entries first place gets 24 points all the way down to last place that gets 1 point. The more entries, the harder it is to win thus the more points. Take the best 6 tournaments. Give a bonus point for fishing every tournament over 6 tournaments to give incentive to fish them all. This will probably not help me win next year but it should bring in more entries and be good for the series. HG
